Lionel Messi’s 2021 Porsche Cayenne GTS Coupé is up for sale.
It has 14,173 miles on the clock, a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, and the kind of provenance that makes car collectors reach for their phones.
The black Coupé is believed to have been used by Messi during his final season at Barcelona before his move to PSG in 2021.
It is registered in Barcelona and currently located in Berlin, which is quite the journey for a car that has barely been driven, as reported by CreatorZine.
The auction takes place on 13 April through SBX Cars.
The spec sheet

The numbers are serious. The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 produces 453 horsepower and pushes the Cayenne to a top speed of 168mph.
It covers 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. For a family SUV, that is absurd. For a Porsche GTS, it is roughly the point.
The car comes with RS Spyder wheels, GTS-embroidered seats, Race-Tex interior surfaces, a Sport Chrono package, tinted windows, LED headlights, a rear spoiler, Bose audio system and a panoramic moonroof.
It has recently passed a TÜV inspection.

A spokesperson for SBX Cars said: “Previously owned by Lionel Messi, this Cayenne GTS packs a twin-turbo V8, Sport Chrono, and aggressive GTS spec. Everyday practicality with serious Porsche performance edge.”
Why celebrity provenance matters
The car would be a strong proposition without Messi’s name attached.
Low mileage, full spec, recent inspection.

But celebrity ownership reliably inflates auction prices, and Messi is not just any celebrity.
He is arguably the greatest footballer in history, and any item connected to his Barcelona years carries particular weight for collectors and fans.
The timing of the car, from his last season at the club before a move that reshaped his career, adds a layer of narrative that auction houses understand how to sell.

No guide price has been publicly listed. Given the combination of the car’s condition, specification and its former owner, expect interest to be strong.
Whether someone buys it to drive or to park in a temperature-controlled garage and never touch it is a question only the winning bidder can answer.
