She never reached her front door.

The mum-of-five has not been seen since, and her family have spent the weekend looking for her.

Last seen between the petrol station and Iceland

Cindy travelled back from Stockton in the early hours of Saturday 22 August, arriving at around 4am.

Her last known location was Birchington Avenue, in the Whale Hill area, a short walk from her house on Deepgrove Walk.

Her family believe her final movements were along the stretch of road between the Esso garage and Iceland.

She was thought to be wearing cream trousers and a yellow knitted jumper. She has black hair and a nose piercing.

‘Please just knock on my door’

Her sister Katie Parks has appealed publicly for her to make contact.

“Honestly my heart’s breaking not knowing where you are Cindy,” she said.

“Please please just knock on my door or let me know you’re okay, you’re loved more than you realise.”

Katie said she planned to join the search herself. “I’m going to get ready and search the hills on foot today.”

“My heart can’t cope with this.”

The CCTV appeal

The family want to hear from anyone living on Birchington Avenue who has doorbell, dashcam or security footage recorded between 8pm on Friday 21 August and 6am the following morning.

That window opens around eight hours before Cindy got into the taxi, suggesting the family are casting wider than the drop-off itself.
