Eight months after she gave birth to an NBA star’s son, Analicia Chaves was booked into a North Carolina jail on felony drug charges and held on a $20,000 bond.
The 36-year-old model, who works under the name Ana Montana, was arrested in Mecklenburg County on Monday (28 September), as reported by Creatorzine.
She faces two counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or forgery, plus two misdemeanour counts of simple possession.

What the warrant alleges
According to TMZ, an arrest warrant claims Montana obtained alprazolam, the generic form of Xanax, from a Walgreens pharmacy.
The prescription was allegedly written using a doctor’s stolen Drug Enforcement Administration registration and medical provider identification details.
The alleged incident dates back to 21 February.
The warrant was reportedly not issued until 22 September, seven months later.
Her lawyer tells it differently
Montana’s lawyer offered a version that shifts where the alleged fraud happened.
The charges, he said, allege that a doctor prescribed the medication to her using fraudulent DEA registration and NPI numbers.
Montana then took that prescription to the pharmacy.
He told TMZ: “The drug possession charges appear to allege that she possessed the aforementioned Alprazolam upon obtaining it from the pharmacy via the prescription written by the doctor.”
The distinction matters. One account places her at the centre of the alleged forgery.
The other places her at the end of a chain that started with someone else’s credentials.
Both descriptions of the warrant come through the same outlet.
Neither has been confirmed by court records seen by this publication.
The Ball connection
Montana welcomed a son, LaOne, with LaMelo Ball in January.
The couple went public with the birth in May.
Ball, who spent his career to date in Charlotte, was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in June.
Ball has not commented. Neither has Walgreens, nor the doctor named in the warrant reporting.

Montana built a following as a model and social media figure long before her relationship with Ball put her in the sports gossip cycle.
That combination is a specific kind of exposure.
Creators with athlete partners inherit an audience that follows courtrooms as closely as it follows content, and a booking photo travels faster than anything they have ever posted deliberately.

Her next court date has not been made public.
