I watched guests bag sunbeds at 11pm – then a stranger stripped every towel off

A Scottish mum filmed a mystery woman stripping towels off poolside sunbeds at 11pm in Mallorca. Then it rained all day and the sunbed-baggers gave up.

At 11pm in Santa Ponsa, a woman walked out to the hotel pool and began pulling towels off the loungers.

She didn’t work there. She’d just had enough.

Sarah Watson was staying at the Fergus Cala Blanca Suites in Mallorca when she clocked the nightly routine.

Guests slipping down after dark. Towels draped over sunbeds.

Loungers claimed for a day that hadn’t started yet.

The 30-year-old solo twin mum from Roslin, Midlothian, filmed the stranger doing the rounds and posted the clip to TikTok on 31 August.

It has since passed 123,000 views.

Sarah told Creatorzine: “Each night people would put towels on sunbeds to reserve them for the next day.

“At about 11pm, this lady had had enough and went out to start removing the towels off the beds.”

Then the weather got involved

The following day brought rain. Sarah filmed the sequel from a lounger, water in hand, watching the poolside empty out.

“Sitting by the pool watching the selfish people who came down at 11pm last night to secure a sun bed, only for it to rain all day so they leave is the most enjoyable part of my holiday so far,” she said.

The comments section picks a side

Veronika was more reflective: “It’s only funny cos it’s not me (never been on all inclusive holiday).”

Ellie recognised the hotel immediately, saying she’d complained to the manager the week before and had sat watching the same thing at 11.40pm, with most of the beds already gone.

Nicola Lee had a different complaint about the venue: “Loungers at Fergus hotels are so close together, like you’re expected to literally sweat on a total stranger.”

One commenter suggested a quieter fix, tipping staff well on day one and having chairs saved.

Another had escalated well past that: “My fav thing to do is go out at 3am and pile all the towels into a pile on the ground by the gate. If we gonna play games I’ma play them too.”

Why It Matters

Holiday grievance is one of the most dependable engines on British TikTok, and sunbed content costs nothing to make.

No kit, no editing, no script. One filmed injustice, a follow-up when the weather turns, and a comments section that arrives already furious.

Sarah wasn’t building a series. She just filmed what was in front of her, twice, and the second clip did the work the first one set up.

Jam Press has approached Fergus Cala Blanca Suites for comment.

She still has holiday left. The towels will be back out tonight.
