Four people spent a five-hour flight home from Cyprus hiding vapes behind their legs.
An officer was walking down the aisle before any of them got off.
Three women and one man were on easyJet flight EZY6610 from Larnaca to Birmingham on 16 September.

Police met the plane at the gate and removed all four.
The passenger who filmed it
Annalise Galstaun, 31, from Birmingham, had her phone out when the officer arrived.
“Grown adults who can’t wait to smoke their strawberry flavoured crap,” she told Creatorzine.
“They were warned a few times by easyJet staff but continued to vape on the sly throughout the 5 hour journey hiding the vape behind their legs on the seat.
“Staff had seen them numerous times and I think someone close complained too.”
Everyone else paid for it
The plane sat on the ground for roughly 25 minutes while police worked through the group.
Hundreds of people who had done nothing wrong waited it out at the end of a long evening flight.
“I felt annoyed as we were delayed around 20/25 mins grounded on the floor waiting for them to be escorted,” Annalise said.
“There were children onboard crying, it’s a long journey.”
easyJet and the police respond
An easyJet spokesperson confirmed the flight was met by officers.
“Flight EZY6610 from Larnaca to Birmingham on 16 September was met by police on arrival due to a group of passengers behaving disruptively onboard,” they said.
“Our cabin crew are trained to assess all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other customers is not compromised at any time.
“We take these incidents seriously and do not tolerate disruptive behaviour onboard.
The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is always easyJet’s highest priority.”
West Midlands Police kept it shorter. “We received a complaint of a disruptive passenger and we supported staff in asking someone to leave the plane,” a spokesperson said.
Why It Matters
Nobody on that plane was a creator. That didn’t stop the flight producing content.
The moment police boarded, four strangers became a clip, and the person holding the phone became the story’s author.

Airlines have spent two years tightening their language around onboard behaviour while cabin crew deal with an increasingly bold flying public.
Vaping sits in the awkward middle. Banned everywhere, visible nowhere, and easy to do badly with your hand under a tray table.
What to watch
easyJet has not said whether the four face bans or further action, and police described the outcome as supporting staff rather than making arrests.
So the clip will probably outlive the consequences.
