The Brazilian doctor has built a huge Instagram following around body “harmonisation” content — and he’s now the man Miss BumBum contestants queue up to see before the pageant.
Roberto Chacur isn’t a typical influencer, but with 3,255 posts and 795,000 followers on Instagram (@drchacur), he’s built exactly the kind of content-driven following usually associated with creators, not clinicians. His bio promises “cellulite treatment” and “body harmonisation,” and his feed has become a go-to destination for anyone tracking Brazil’s booming cosmetic scene — including some of Miss BumBum’s biggest names.
The treatment going viral in the pageant world
Chacur is the creator of GoldIncision, a needle-based collagen treatment he says delivers a “perky” lift in a single 90-minute session — no scalpel required. It’s already been used by three of this year’s Miss BumBum contestants, at $6,000 (£4,000) a session.
“It has become the preferred treatment for women, as it offers immediate results. It combines collagen biostimulation with biosimetric and fibrous septa detachment. With the application of a needle, the treatment is done within an hour and thirty minutes.”

He claims results are visible from the very first appointment:

The contestants lining up
This year’s Miss BumBum hopefuls Grazieli Nunes, Anne Lima and Laysa Padovani have all reportedly gone through Chacur’s treatment ahead of the competition, on top of more traditional Brazilian butt lifts — with some contestants’ total spend on “competition-ready” procedures reportedly reaching $200,000 (£165,000).
Not every contestant is going the GoldIncision route, though. 2019 Miss BumBum winner Lucene Duarte, 43, told Jam Press she’d opted for a $10,000 (£8,000) 24k gold thread butt lift instead:
“I used Bulgarian threads injected into the buttocks to have a firmer, luminous and youthful butt, it is a less invasive procedure.”
