A cold cup of Yorkshire Tea is the vet-recommended treatment for Frank Ocean’s eye infection.
She is a two-month-old seal pup, and the brand has now sent her more than 1,000 tea bags.
A walker spotted her on the sand at Redcar in Teesside with no mother anywhere near, and raised the alarm.
She arrived at the specialist seal hospital at Scarborough SEA LIFE Centre carrying several health problems, as reported by Creatorzine.

One of them was the infection in her eyes.
Carers bathe them with chilled tea.
Every day.
The brand heard about it
Louisa Godley, assistant brand manager at Yorkshire Tea, said the company knows its brews get put to all sorts of uses, though a seal pup ranked as “one of the most rewarding”.
“There was no hesitation to offer our support,” she said.
The thousand-plus bags followed.
Named after a singer, treated like one
Staff called her Frank Ocean, after the American singer-songwriter, and the name has stuck harder than most.
“Just like her namesake, Frank is a superstar who deserves the best treatment,” said Kieran Wade, operations manager at SEA LIFE Scarborough.
“She has given Yorkshire Tea the seal of approval.”
Frank remains on specialist care. Herring is the favourite.
Staff expect a full recovery, then a further stretch of rehabilitation, then release back into the wild.
Why It Matters

A brand spent roughly the cost of a supermarket shop and bought itself a national story with a photogenic animal at the centre of it.
No agency, no creative brief, no media buy.
Somebody at Yorkshire Tea read about a poorly seal and said yes quickly, which is the only real skill involved.
Creators keep being told to build brand partnerships around audience size.
This one worked on speed and a decent instinct for a story, and it will outperform most paid campaigns running this month.
The wider pattern
Yorkshire Tea has spent years cultivating a reputation for being reasonable online, mostly by replying to people politely and occasionally telling customers off on the internet’s behalf.
Reactive gestures like this one compound that, which is why the tea bags arrived within days rather than after a committee meeting.
What to watch

Frank’s release date hasn’t been set.
When it comes, expect the footage, the hashtag, and a fresh round of coverage for a company that sells hot drinks in Yorkshire.
She has no idea she is content.
