Hours after Ethan Klein put the H3 Podcast on indefinite hiatus, his wife told the world why.
Hila Klein, 38, has accused the 41-year-old YouTuber of an affair lasting more than six months.
The show’s own crew now say they won’t work with him.

The fashion designer, who has been married to Ethan for 14 years and shares three children with him, made the allegation on Instagram today (23 Oct), as reported by Creatorzine.
“Lie after lie after lie”

Hila’s statement opened without ceremony.
“I am living in a nightmare I can’t wake up from. My husband has been having an affair.
I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months. I am tired of lies. Here is the truth.”
She says she knew something was wrong long before she could prove it.
When she raised it, she claims, nothing changed.

“I tried to ask him questions and share my concerns and hurt feelings. But I was met with dismissive answers and no action.”
So she stopped asking.
“So I trusted him. Because I loved him. I stopped questioning him and began to question myself, my own instincts. My sanity.”
From “just a kiss” to six months
Eventually, she says, Ethan was caught out. “I knew I was done.”
The confession, by her account, arrived in instalments.

“‘It was just a kiss’ became ‘it was emotional cheating.’ After I dragged these lies from him, he finally admitted he’d been in an affair for over 6 months, the extent of which I’m sure I still don’t know.”
Hila grew up in Tel Aviv and became a naturalised US citizen in 2019.
The couple live in a six-bedroom mansion in Bel Air, Los Angeles, and her statement made clear how much of her life ran through him.
“The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight.

He was my safe place, my partner in marriage, parenting, and business.
My only family on this side of the world.”
She admits she has no plan yet. “I don’t know what comes next; I’ve never been here before.
I am in survival mode, trying to navigate separation, co-parenting, and unthinkable heartbreak.”
Her final lines were for other people. “You’re not crazy. Trust your instincts.

Trust yourself. If you’re not being treated right, get up and leave.”
The crew walks out on the boss
Ethan created the H3 Podcast, which he co-hosts with Hila and which has 2.51m subscribers on YouTube.
His crew have sided with her anyway.
“We are all shocked, angry, and heartbroken to learn about Ethan’s ongoing affair,” a spokesperson for the show wrote.
“As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way. We don’t yet know what that means for the future.”

They didn’t soften it. “We’re disgusted by Ethan’s actions and the hurt he has caused. We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you.”
The team told fans they were safe and looking after each other, and asked for time to work out what happens to a show they have poured themselves into.
They signed off: “We love you, and we miss you already.”
Creatorzine has approached Ethan for comment through his company, H3.
Why It Matters

Creator couples sell the relationship as part of the product.
Hila called Ethan her partner in “marriage, parenting, and business”, and when one of those collapses, the other two come down with it.
The H3 crew’s statement shows the fallout reaching people whose wages depend on a marriage they were never part of.
A pattern playing out in public
Creators increasingly announce splits directly to their audiences, often before lawyers or publicists have said a word.
Fans now hear about the breakdown in the same feed where they watched the relationship.
What happens next
Ethan has yet to respond publicly. The crew want to carry on without him, but a podcast he founded doesn’t come with an obvious exit for its founder.
Whether H3 returns, and whose show it is when it does, is anyone’s guess.
