The man was still filming Bruno Mars when a two-handed shove from security sent him flying into the Wembley crowd.
Seconds earlier, he had thrown a full pint at the star.
Mars was closing out a six-night sold-out run at Wembley Stadium on 28 July, the final UK date of The Romantic tour, when one fan broke from the singalong and made for the barrier.
Connie Shears, watching from the stands, saw the pint fly.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw someone throw something at Bruno,” Connie, from Kettering, told CreatorZine.
“The security soon leaped into action and dealt with the person within seconds.”
Filming with one hand, throwing with the other
Footage of the moment has racked up more than 136,000 views.
It shows the man recording the popstar as he launches the drink, then carrying on filming right up until a security guard plants both hands on his chest and flings him backwards into the crowd.
The spot he did it from makes it stranger.
He was standing in the golden circle, directly in front of the stage and the priciest patch of the stadium, where face value tickets run up to £190 before resale does its thing.
A lot of money for a launching pad.
‘Bruno did not react’
Mars kept singing while security handled the barrier.
“I couldn’t help but look at Bruno’s reaction to this, which he seemed to approve of,” Connie said.
“Bruno did not react and showed such professionalism and carried on with his show.”
She had a message for the singer too.
“We’re sorry Bruno endured this. This was unacceptable behaviour. Please let Bruno Mars know I’m single.”
And the pint didn’t spoil the night.
“This didn’t make the show less enjoyable. We still thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it and I have to mention DJ peewee which really got the crowd hyped up.
He was amazing too. Really good show, this was my first ever concert and I’ll be sure to do more.”

It was about the clip. Incident footage now travels further and faster than performance footage, and a stadium full of cameras means any airborne drink becomes somebody’s viral moment within hours.

Object-throwing at live shows has been a recurring problem since 2023, when Bebe Rexha needed stitches after a fan hit her with a phone mid-set, and venues have been tightening barrier security ever since.
