Perez Hilton has been hospitalised after fans were left concerned he was reportedly self-harming during one of his TikTok livestreams – and alerted police.
The 48-year-old celebrity blogger appeared injured during the broadcast from his Florida home on Tuesday (5 August).
Clips circulating afterwards reportedly showed Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr, covered in blood.

Some viewers reportedly urged Hilton to stop, while multiple callers alerted authorities.
Fans have since filled his Instagram comments with messages of love and support.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said it received multiple reports concerning an individual livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media, as reported by CreatorZine.
The agency did not name Hilton in its initial public statement, although his representatives and multiple subsequent reports identified him as the person involved.
Deputies established that the individual was alone before tactically disengaging while continuing to monitor the situation and use crisis-intervention techniques.
The sheriff’s office later said the person was “safely recovered” and transported to hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
Reports said the livestream was removed and Hilton’s TikTok account suspended.
No further details about his condition have been publicly confirmed at the time of publication.
Concern has since spilled into the comments beneath one of Hilton’s latest Instagram posts.
One person wrote: “Here after the livestream. I truly hope you get the help you need.
“Nobody should have to willingly put themselves through that.”
Another fan simply said: “Praying for you.”
Another wrote: “Dear Perez, hope you can feel all the love the world is sending you. Everything will be okay.”
The messages represent only a small selection of the reaction spreading across his accounts as viewers wait for an update on his condition.
Hilton’s managers Dante Rusciolelli and Rebekah Kochan acknowledged the “concerning content” circulating online following the livestream.
They said they had been attempting to contact him directly and would not speculate without confirmed information.
A statement said: “Our primary concern is Perez’s health and well-being, as well as the well-being of his family.”
His management also asked the public to respect his privacy.
Hilton has three children, whom he welcomed through surrogacy, and announced in June that he had relocated with his family from Las Vegas to Miami.
The incident follows several serious health problems for the veteran entertainment blogger.
Hilton spent 21 days in hospital earlier this year after a serious illness developed into a perforated stomach and sepsis.
He later admitted that he had failed to follow instructions to take prescribed medication with food.
The father-of-three said the experience had made him reassess his priorities and that he wanted to spend more time with his children.
Hilton rose to prominence during the 2000s through his Perez Hilton website, a celebrity gossip website known for its abrasive coverage of famous figures.
He later expressed regret over some of his earlier work and attempted to adopt a less hostile approach.
His career has since expanded into podcasts, social media and reality television, including an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in 2015.
