The ankle monitor was supposed to be the end of it.

Four months after Adva Lavie walked out of custody wearing one, Beverly Hills police have arrested her again.

Officers detained the 28-year-old, known online as Mia Ventura, near Brighton Way in Beverly Hills at around 10.30pm on Tuesday 28 July, as reported by CreatorZine.

The new arrest relates to a separate theft allegation in Riverside County.

According to NBC Los Angeles, the Beverly Hills Police Department also confirmed she was in violation of a court order.

Six felonies and counting

Lavie, a former Penthouse model who later built an audience on OnlyFans, was ordered to stand trial in March on six felony counts: two of grand theft, two of unauthorised use of personal identifying information, one of first-degree residential burglary with a person present and one of first-degree residential burglary.

She pleaded not guilty to all of them and was released with an electronic ankle monitor, under orders to stay away from the alleged victims.

That arrangement lasted until Tuesday.

The dating app playbook

Prosecutors allege that between 2023 and 2025 Lavie used dating apps to win the trust of wealthy men she met online, posing as a romantic partner or travel companion to get through the front door.

Once inside, she is accused of taking cash, gold and designer goods from homes across Los Angeles County.

None of the allegations has been tested at trial.

Why it matters

Every headline on this case reaches for her creator CV first: the OnlyFans career, the Penthouse spread.

That framing is doing heavy lifting in what is otherwise a county theft case, and it says plenty about how the two worlds now read to editors.

The skill prosecutors describe, building intimacy at speed with strangers met online, is the same one large parts of the creator economy run on and reward.

When it allegedly moves offline, the coverage takes care of itself.

Lavie joins a growing file of influencer crime stories, where a platform history turns a routine court listing into international news.

She is due in court today, 30 July. If convicted as charged, she faces up to 11 years and eight months in state prison.

The trial was always going to draw cameras. Now it comes with a prequel.
