A man paid thousands for a private cam session with one of Babestation‘s top models.
His request: that she pretend to be Kylie Minogue. It did not go well for either of them.
Zoe Grey, 34, has worked on Babestation — one of the biggest webcam platforms in the world — long enough to have seen most things coming.

The Kylie session caught her off guard.
The setup, as Zoe describes it, was specific.
Her user wanted Kylie Minogue to have taken a shine to him and be leading him back to her flat. Zoe, from Cambridgeshire, gave it a go.
“I tried to do the accent but it just wasn’t it,” she said.
“He just kept calling me Kylie Minogue the whole time. I just kept thinking, ‘I’m going to wet myself laughing any minute’.”
The fantasy unravelled fairly quickly.
“Apparently, I was walking up the stairs to my flat and he was like, ‘Kylie Minogue, do you want me to follow you? Kylie Minogue’. I didn’t even know what to do. I tried. It threw me off so much, I was about to start laughing.”
She calls it the strangest request she’s ever received. Given everything else on her list, that’s saying something.
The pizza situation
Zoe has 102,000 Instagram followers and fields hundreds of requests a day.
The assumption — from people who’ve never actually looked at how platforms like Babestation work — is that they’re wall-to-wall raunchy.
In reality, she says, a significant number of users just want to talk.
One regular comes back specifically to discuss takeaways.
He made a memorable entrance during a live studio session, joining mid-broadcast from his phone on the way home from a night out, carrying what he claimed was a 24-slice pizza.
“He was like, ‘How many slices do you think I’ll eat of this pizza?'” Zoe said.
“We just talked about our favourite takeaways. Despite the session timing out after 18 minutes, he’d be right back again.”
The live chat, meanwhile, was not exactly expecting a food review segment.
“I could just see people reacting as the pizza chat went on and on because no one was expecting to hear me talking about takeaway slices,” she said.
One viewer who walked in mid-conversation summed up the room’s general confusion:
“He came into the chat and was like, ‘What the f**k was that about?'”
Zoe didn’t seem to mind. “Sometimes when guys just want to talk normally, it’s great.”
Why it matters
The creator economy has made space for a far wider range of human interaction than the obvious headlines suggest — and Babestation, founded in 2002, sits somewhere in the middle of that.
For every transaction that fits the assumed template, there’s apparently a man who just needs someone to weigh in on his pizza order at midnight.
Zoe Grey is, among other things, providing that service.
Whether the Kylie Minogue guy found what he was looking for somewhere else remains unknown.
